Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures from the Italeri brand in 1:72 scale. It represents riders of the British 11th Hussars of the period of the Crimean War in the middle of the nineteenth century. It is not a kit, but a collection of small cavalry figures with horses, meant for dioramas and mass scenes.
The British 11th Hussars were among the renowned cavalry units of the Victorian era and are bound up with the campaign in the Crimea. Hussar regiments were marked out by striking uniforms with rich braiding, which makes them a rewarding subject for modelers. The set captures the riders and the horses in period attitudes suited to battle as well as marching scenes.
First clean the cavalry figures of flash and put the riders together with the horses. Choose the matching glue according to the material. The richly decorated uniforms of the hussars call for careful painting in layers, in which the braid and the items of equipment will show. Paint the horses with an eye to natural coat shades, and bring out the details with a wash and drybrushing.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
