British 75mm ROQF MkV barrel for Cromwell Mk IV, V, VII is a turned metal barrel from Aber in 1:72 scale for models of the Cromwell tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
This product is not a model but a turned metal replacement barrel for the British 75 mm ROQF MkV gun. It replaces the plastic barrel from a kit with a faithfully shaped metal part with a drilled muzzle and exact geometry. It is intended for models of the British Cromwell cruiser tank in the Mk IV, V and VII versions in 1:72 scale. Aber is a Polish manufacturer of turned barrels and photo-etched accessories.
The British 75mm ROQF gun was created by adapting the earlier 6-pounder gun to the common American 75mm ammunition and became the armament of the fast Cromwell cruiser tanks. Those stood out for their high speed and mobility in the formations of the British armored divisions from 1944.
Cut off the plastic barrel and clean up the seat, then glue the metal one on with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The metal part ensures a straight and round muzzle. Degrease it before painting and apply a metal primer.
This is a metal accessory, not a stand-alone model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
