RS models 1:72 Bücker Bü 131B Jungmann — a plastic model of the famous German training biplane of the 1930s in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the training biplane Bücker Bü 131B Jungmann in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer RS models. The elegant little biplane is a rewarding subject — it offers an interesting structure and a colorful range of users across countries and decades.
The two-seat Bücker Bü 131 Jungmann first flew in 1934 and became the standard aircraft for the basic training of German pilots. The Bü 131B version received a more powerful inline Hirth engine. Thanks to its excellent agility and reliability the type was built under license in a number of other countries and many examples fly in civilian hands to this day — the Jungmann is among the most popular historic biplanes of all.
With a biplane, plan the sequence in advance: it is more convenient to paint the fuselage and the wings before final assembly. Seat the struts deliberately and let them dry in the correct geometry; the rigging wires can be added with tensioned fishing line or an elastic thread. A kit of a smaller production run calls for dry-fitting and fine adjustment of the parts; for the small struts a combination of cement for plastic and gel super glue works well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
