Curtiss P-40C / Tomahawk IIB interior set 1:72 is a resin detail set from AML. It adds a sharper cockpit and interior for models of the early P-40 version.
Responsibility details are not available.
This interior detail set from the manufacturer AML sharpens the cockpit of models of the early Curtiss P-40C version, the Tomahawk Mk.IIB in British designation, in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a set of resin parts, usually supplemented with a photo-etched fret, for sharpening the cockpit.
The Curtiss P-40 was an American fighter with an Allison V12 engine, famous for its use by the Flying Tigers volunteers and in British and Allied service. The P-40C/Tomahawk IIB version was among the early aircraft. A sharpened interior markedly brings a model to life when the canopy is open.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts and cut off the casting blocks. Bend the photo-etched parts over an edge. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue, and sanding should be done with your breathing protected. Paint the interior, bring it out and fit it before the fuselage is closed up.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
