A sheet of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale from the Hungarian manufacturer HAD models, prepared for the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 fighter in the A-4 version. According to the name it holds markings for two camouflage variants. The package holds decals only.
The Fw 190 differed from most fighters of its day in its air-cooled radial engine, which gave the nose its characteristically broad shape. The A-4 version belongs to the early batches of the A fighter family and is recognized among other things by the short aerial mast on the vertical tail. The wide track of the main landing gear made operation from less well prepared ground easier, and the sturdy airframe allowed later conversions for carrying armament under the wing.
First paint the model and let the paint cure sufficiently, then spray a smooth coat of gloss clear coat. Cut the design out as close to the edge of the film as possible, dip it in lukewarm water and let it rest until the backing releases. Line the decal up on the model, soak the surplus water up and let it dry. Use the softener on the engraved lines and around the fairings, and never poke at the decal needlessly while it is soft. Finally unify everything with a matte or semi-gloss varnish.
This is a decal sheet, not a kit. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
