Dornier Do 215 B in Hungarian service decals in 1:72 scale from the Hungarian maker SBS Model - markings of the reconnaissance twin-engine machines of the Royal Hungarian Air Force of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
This decal sheet from the Hungarian maker SBS Model brings the markings of the twin-engine Dornier Do 215 B machines that served with the Royal Hungarian Air Force during the Second World War. The sheet is intended for models in 1:72 scale and makes it possible to build this machine in a less usual form of interest to collectors, the kind you will mostly not find in ordinary boxed kits.
The Dornier Do 215 came about through the development of the proven Do 17 series, from which it differed above all in its more powerful twelve-cylinder Daimler-Benz engines. The Do 215 B version served mainly for long-range reconnaissance. Hungary obtained these machines from Germany and used them for reconnaissance flights on the Eastern Front; the Hungarian examples carried camouflage based on German standards with the national insignia of the Hungarian Air Force added.
Before applying them, spray the model with gloss varnish - the decal will then adhere better and so-called silvering will not occur. Cut the individual motifs out close to the printing, soak them in lukewarm water and seat them on the model with a soft brush. A softener will help the decal settle into recesses and over engraving; once perfectly dry, seal the whole model with a coat of varnish to the degree of gloss you want.
This is a stand-alone decal sheet - the aircraft kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
