An injection-molded plastic kit of the modern multi-role helicopter Eurocopter EC-135 in police form, in 1:72 scale from Revell. The model has engraved panel lines, a glazed pilot's cabin, a broken down interior and clear parts. Decals for the police finish are usually included. Once assembled it makes a neat model of a civil machine in the colors of a police air service.
The EC-135 is a modern twin-engine helicopter of the medium category which became one of the most widespread machines of the police and rescue services in Europe. Its recognition feature is the low-noise Fenestron tail rotor built into the vertical tail. The police version is used for monitoring from the air, for pursuit and for supporting ground units; rescue variants of the same machine are used as air ambulance helicopters.
Mask the extensive cabin glazing and paint it with an airbrush, and finish the interior before closing up the fuselage. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic. The police finish and the bold decals stand out on a smooth gloss base, which also makes applying the decals easier; a final varnish will even out the surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
