Injection-molded short-run kit of the three-engined Fokker F.VIIb/3m high-wing monoplane in the Spanish Bomber version, in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker Valom. It usually comes with resin and photo-etched parts and suits modelers who are used to short-run kits. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted; you will find the exact package contents in the instructions.
The Fokker F.VIIb/3m was a three-engined transport high-wing monoplane of the 1920s with a characteristic thick wing and three radial engines (one in the nose, two on the wing). In its day it was one of the most widely used airliners and it became famous for its long-distance flights. During the Spanish Civil War a number of these civil aircraft were hastily converted into makeshift bombers that dropped their bombs through open doors and from improvised racks.
With a short-run kit, expect to clean the flash off and to dry-fit the parts first; the fuselage and wing joints may need a little filling and sanding. Glue the resin and photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Mask the large cabin glazing and paint it separately. Spray the large areas over a primer with an airbrush so that the covering coat is even.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
