A colored photo-etched instrument panel for the British Gloster Gladiator Mk.I fighter biplane in 1:72 scale. It is a finished cockpit accessory, not an aircraft kit. Thin etched metal with pre-printed colored dials replaces the panel from the kit and, even in a small scale, gives the pilot's compartment a readable and faithful look without hand painting.
The Gloster Gladiator was the last biplane fighter of the British RAF. It entered service in the second half of the 1930s and was one of the first British fighters to have an enclosed cockpit. Although more modern monoplanes soon overtook it, it saw action at the start of the Second World War on a number of fronts.
Break the panel out of the fret, remove the original instrument panel of the kit and seat the new one in its place. It holds best with a drop of cyanoacrylate glue or a glue for photo-etch. In 1:72 scale the part is tiny, so work with fine tweezers and a steady hand.
This is a detail accessory for a cockpit, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
