1:72 Junkers Ju 87B Stuka - French Campaign

Waterslide decals 1:72 Junkers Ju 87B Stuka - the French campaign (ROP o.s.)

A set of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale for a plastic model of the Junkers Ju 87B Stuka dive bomber. The subject concentrates on machines from the campaign in France in 1940. It is a standalone decal set, not a kit; the decals are transferred by soaking in water.

The real subject

The Junkers Ju 87 Stuka was a German dive bomber with a characteristic cranked wing and fixed, faired landing gear. The early Ju 87B version was marked out by its dive brakes for accurate diving attacks and was committed in the opening campaigns of the Second World War. During the fighting for France the Stukas were among the feared weapons supporting the ground advance.

Use

• Cut the decal out and soak it briefly in lukewarm water.
• Slide it off the backing onto the surface of the model and fine-tune its position.
• Apply it onto gloss varnish; a decal softener is suitable.
• Once it has dried, fix it with matte or semi-gloss varnish.

Who the set is for

• Modelers building the Ju 87B in 1:72 scale.
• Anyone interested in the period of the fighting for France in 1940.
• Collectors of German aircraft of the early phase of the war.

This is a decal set. The aircraft model, the paints and the varnish are not included in the package.
