This is a set of laser-cut fern leaves from the Czech manufacturer Eduard, from its range of scenic accessories. The material is finely cut out and pre-colored in shades of green, so it imitates the structure of a real fern faithfully. It is not a model kit but an accessory meant to bring life to dioramas, bases and scenes.
The individual parts are carefully picked out of the sheet, shaped a little if needed and glued onto the diorama. The shape of the leaves can be bent slightly so that the vegetation looks natural and does not sit flat. The shade can be fine-tuned with colored pencils, markers or model paints to suit the particular scene.
Glue the parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with thinned PVA glue. For a three-dimensional effect, combine several layers and turn the leaves at different angles. The vegetation suits covering the transitions between the ground and buildings and filling open areas around vehicles or figures.
This is an accessory material, not a model. Glue and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
