Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109F fighter in 1:72 scale from SabreKits. The boxing is aimed at machines deployed over the Mediterranean and in North Africa. The kit calls for the usual modeling skills: separating the parts from the sprues, cleaning them up, gluing and painting. Check the exact package contents and the number of marking options against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109F, nicknamed the Friedrich, was the aerodynamically refined version of the famous fighter. Compared with the earlier Emil it received rounded wingtips, cleaner shapes and improved handling; many pilots regarded it as the best-flying version of the Bf 109. In the Mediterranean and over North Africa these machines came into their own in combat against Allied aircraft, often in characteristic desert camouflage.
Cut the parts from the sprues and glue them with liquid modeling cement for plastic. Paint the cockpit and pick it out before you close the fuselage up, and mask the clear canopy while spraying. Lay down a primer and the paints with an airbrush, and apply the decals over a gloss coat. Desert machines carried rubbed-through finishes and deposits of dust; bring out the panel lines with a wash and add appropriate wear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
