The MiG-15UTI is the two-seat training version of the MiG-15 jet fighter. On it the front of the fuselage received a lengthened cockpit with two seats one behind the other, so that the instructor could see the pupil's work and step in at any time. It was on this machine that whole generations of pilots converted from piston aircraft to jets, and in training units it lasted considerably longer than the single-seat combat version. This example carries Polish Air Force markings.
This is a finished collector model, not a kit. It is assembled, surface-finished and provided with its colors and national insignia, so gluing, filling, spraying paint and applying decals all fall away.
It shows best in a display case, where it is protected from dust. Direct sun takes the depth out of the colors, so do not place the model on a windowsill. Remove the dust with a soft brush or a stream of air; do not use detergents or solvents, which could attack the surface finish. When carrying the model, hold it by the fuselage, not by the flying surfaces or the landing gear.
It will be appreciated by collectors of Cold War aircraft, by anyone interested in training machines and by those who want a model at home with no work of building. A base, a display case and other accessories are not supplied, unless stated otherwise.
