1:72 Mig-25 RBT BASIC (REV,HAS)

A set of masks for the MiG-25RBT in 1:72 scale, the Basic variant

A basic set of precisely cut masking films from New Ware for kits of the MiG-25RBT in 1:72 scale. The Basic grade covers the cabin glazing and the landing gear wheels, the parts where masks bring the greatest saving of time and the most visible improvement to the result.

The real subject

The MiG-25 was a Soviet twin-engine aircraft designed for speeds over Mach 2.8 and for operations at great altitudes. The RBT version belongs to the family of single-seat reconnaissance-bomber machines of the RB line and carried its own combination of photographic and electronic reconnaissance equipment. Despite its dimensions, the MiG-25 has a fairly small cabin canopy with prominent frames, and outlining them by hand is very laborious in 1:72 scale.

Use

• Lift the mask off with tweezers and lay it on a clean, degreased surface.
• Smooth the edges down so that paint does not creep under, and spray light coats.
• Once the paint has dried, carefully remove the film.
• The wheel masks create a clean division between the hub and the tire.

Who it is for

For builders of the MiG-25RBT in 1:72 scale who want to manage the masking quickly and reliably with no risk of paint creeping under. The basic set is a straightforward helper for beginners and experienced modelers alike.

This is a masking accessory, not a standalone model kit. The set is intended for particular kits of the given type; check compatibility with your kit before ordering.
