The Su-100 was a Soviet self-propelled gun from the period of the Second World War built on the chassis of the T-34 tank. In a low armored superstructure it carried a 100 mm gun and was intended for fighting armored vehicles. Characteristic are the sloped surfaces of the superstructure and the long barrel with a counterweight, that is, shapes on which a decal holds worse than spraying.

Use

• Let the base spraying dry thoroughly before masking, otherwise the adhesive will tear the paint away.
• Lay the stencil on and press it down over its whole area; on sloped surfaces give attention to the edges.
• Spray thin coats at a right angle to the surface, rather several times over than once thickly.
• Take the stencil off shortly after the paint has set, as the edge then stays sharp and the paint is not pulled away.
• Seal the spraying with a varnish compatible with the paint used, and only then apply washes and pigments.
