Use

• Let the base paint mature thoroughly, otherwise the adhesive layer will damage it when removed.
• Lay the stencil on the place intended and press it down along its whole edge, so that the edge seats.
• Spray at a right angle to the surface, in several thin coats and rather from a greater distance.
• Take the stencil off shortly after the paint has set, while the film is not yet completely hard.
• Seal the spraying with a varnish compatible with the paint used, and only then apply patina.
