CMK resin road wheel torque arms for the 1:72 Panther Ausf.A/D replace the plastic suspension parts where you can see through the gaps between the Panther's interleaved wheels.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set is not a kit but a resin accessory for a model of the Panther in the Ausf.A and Ausf.D versions in 1:72 scale. It contains the arms on which the road wheels are suspended and replaces the corresponding plastic parts with them.
The Panther has its road wheels arranged in an overlap, with the wheels interleaved in two and even three layers. Vertical gaps remain between them, through which the suspension inside is visible from the side. It is into exactly these gaps that the viewer's eye and a camera lens fall, so a coarse plastic arm rounded off at the ends cannot be hidden. A resin casting holds a thinner section and a sharp edge even in a small scale, so the space between the wheels does not read as a filled block of material.
The choice of glue is what decides. Resin will not bond with modeling cement for plastic; you need cyanoacrylate glue. Use a gel consistency on the arms: it gives you a few seconds to turn the arm to the right angle, which with the Panther's interleaved wheels decides whether the wheels will seat in one plane. Keep thin cyanoacrylate for completing the joint by capillary action once the part is in position. Use accelerator sparingly and away from a visible surface, because it turns white. Before you start gluing, lay the hull on glass and check that all the wheels touch the surface; level out any difference while the glue is still not set.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
