This set of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale is intended for a model of the Soviet Polikarpov I-153 Chaika fighter biplane in the form of captured machines operated by the Luftwaffe. It is not a kit but an accessory with factual period markings.
The Polikarpov I-153 Chaika was a Soviet fighter biplane with a cranked upper wing and retractable landing gear. Some of the machines captured on the Eastern Front were remarked and used by the Luftwaffe, as a rule for training and auxiliary duties.
The decals are applied the wet way onto smooth gloss varnish. Coat the surface with gloss varnish, release the decal in water, place it and go over it with matte varnish once dry. A decal softener makes it easier to settle onto a broken surface.
