1:35 Woman mechanic N°1 is a collector figure of a woman mechanic in 1:35 scale from the label Black Dog model, meant for workshop and garage scenes.
Responsibility details are not available.
A figure in 1:35 scale on the theme of a woman mechanic. The N°1 designation in the name points to the place of the figure in the label's numbered series. It is not a kit but an accessory for equipment and for dioramas, where a scene is to show the work around a machine, not only the machine itself. The number of figures in the package, the material and the finish of the surface are given by the manufacturer on the packaging of the set.
A figure lives on how it fits into the action: before you set it down, try dry what it is turning toward and what it has in its hands. If you paint it, give the most time to the face and the hands, because they carry the whole impression, and deal with the working clothes afterwards. A workshop scene benefits from restrained dirt: a few greasy marks on the trousers and the sleeves come across more believably than soiling over the whole surface. The base and the surrounding objects tune in when they hold the same line of color as the figure.
For builders of dioramas with a civilian or workshop subject, for collectors of figures in 1:35 scale and for modelers who want to show the work around a vehicle as well. It also serves well as an accompanying character beside a single vehicle in a display case, where how big the machine really was and what is going on around it should be apparent at first glance.
