Responsibility details are not available.
A set of unassembled and unpainted plastic figures of the Polish cavalry (the uhlans) on horseback from the defensive fighting of September 1939 in 1:72 scale from the Polish maker First to Fight. The figures will complete dioramas and display cases on the theme of the start of the Second World War.
The uhlans were the cavalry of the Polish army, which in 1939 filled the role of mobile infantry, reconnaissance and a rapid reserve. They fought dismounted like infantry with rifles and machine guns, while the horse gave them mobility. The widespread notion of saber charges against tanks is a later simplification.
Separate the small parts carefully and glue them with a thin cement for plastic. The figures and the horses both paint well with a brush; keep the uniforms in khaki and olive tones, and with the horses work with shades of brown and a dry brush to bring out the coat. A final matte varnish unifies the finish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
