The Pz.Kpfw.II Ausf.L Luchs (Lynx) was the final stage in the development of the Panzer II light tank, designed as a fast reconnaissance vehicle. It was notable for its interleaved road wheels, wide tracks and a turret with a 20 mm cannon. It was deployed with reconnaissance units on the Eastern and Western Fronts, although only in small numbers.
Finish and paint the running gear and the road wheels before you close the hull, where they are hard to reach later. Glue the small photo-etched parts with super glue. After the base coat of German paint, washes into the recesses and dry pigments imitating dust and mud bring the model to life. Consider which of the variants, early or late, you want to build before you start gluing.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
