Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American supersonic photo-reconnaissance aircraft McDonnell RF-101A Voodoo in 1:72 scale from Valom. The package contains plastic parts, photo-etched metal, resin parts and a decal sheet. The photo-etch and resin extras refine the detail and put the kit among the more demanding ones, for more advanced modelers.
The RF-101A was the photo-reconnaissance version of the Voodoo fighter: instead of armament it carried a set of aerial cameras in a lengthened and modified nose. It was one of the first supersonic reconnaissance aircraft of the US Air Force; the crew consisted of a single pilot and power came from two jet engines. The type served from the second half of the 1950s and was famous for its high speed, especially at low altitude.
Shape and fit the forward camera section and the cockpit before you close up the fuselage. Glue the plastic with liquid cement and the resin with cyanoacrylate; sand the fuselage joints and the leading edges smooth. A bright natural metal finish is best created with metallic paint on a smooth surface - stir the paint thoroughly and spray it with an airbrush at the very end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
