The Artillery models 1:72 national insignia masks for the PZL P.24G in Greek service make it possible to spray the national insignia instead of using decals. It is not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of pre-cut self-adhesive masks in 1:72 scale intended for spraying the roundels onto a model of the PZL P.24G fighter in its form for Greek service. The product is neither a kit nor a decal sheet. It is an alternative to decals that gives a different and in many respects cleaner result.
A sprayed insignia has no carrier film, so no edge or glossy outline appears on the surface, the kind that often shows through on matte paint with decals. The risk of a decal wrinkling on an uneven surface also disappears. The procedure is layered: the lightest circle is sprayed first, it is masked off with the next element of the set and the next color is applied, and so on down to the smallest center. What matters is placing the individual layers precisely over one another and letting each color dry properly. The reward is an insignia that looks like part of the paintwork and not like applied paper.
The PZL P.24 was the export development of the Polish fighter with a gull high wing, powered by a radial engine and armed with a combination of weapons in the wing. The P.24G version belonged to the later forms of the range, and machines of this family entered service with several European states, among them Greece, where they were used at the turn of the 1930s and 1940s.
The package contains masks only. The model and the paints are not included. Check compatibility with your kit before buying.
