The Nissan Cedric of the 330 range in a racing-styled form, 1:24, opens a numbered edition of Japanese sedans as the first order number.
Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the large Japanese Nissan Cedric sedan of the 330 series in a racing-tuned form. The name places it as the first part of a numbered edition that Aoshima releases.
The 330 range was produced from the middle of the nineteen seventies and belonged to the top of the marque's offering for the domestic market. The angular body with a strong grille, a long nose and richly chromed trim is typical of the time when Japanese cars of the upper class were looking for a shape language of their own between American and European taste. It was exactly such sedans that later became a favored basis of the period tuning scene, which sat them low over the road and completed them with wide fender flares.
Chrome trim stands out when you line it with a thin brush or use polished foil; a silver paint applied over the whole area looks dead. Try the lowered stance dry before you glue the chassis, so that the wheels do not rub anywhere against a flare. Dark shades of finish need a perfectly smooth undercoat, because otherwise every trace of sanding will stand out. Glue the glazing only after the finish is done.
The model comes unassembled and without a surface finish.
