This resin conversion set from the Czech manufacturer AML lets you build the Mk.Vb or Mk.Vc version in 1:72 scale from a base plastic Supermarine Spitfire model. It holds resin parts with which you rework the wing and other details according to the variant chosen. The set is conceived as an accessory for plastic Spitfire models in 1:72 from other manufacturers; the aircraft itself is not part of the package.
The Spitfire Mk.V was one of the most widespread versions of this legendary British fighter. The Mk.Vb subversion carried two cannons and machine guns, while the universal type C wing of the Mk.Vc version allowed various combinations of armament. The Mk.V Spitfires served in every theater of the Second World War.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Try the parts dry before fitting them. Fill the transitions between plastic and resin and spray them with primer so that they are not visible once painted.
The conversion set is only an accessory. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
