The Colibri Decals 1:72 T-34-76 model 1941, Part I decal set brings markings of Soviet medium tanks in their early production form in a small scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale for the T-34 medium tank with a 76 mm gun in the production form of 1941. The set is marked as the first part of the series. You are buying the decals alone; the model you obtain separately. The small scale is popular with modelers who want more vehicles in a display case and at the same time do not want to give up a whole table to one tank. The exact contents of the sheet are given by the maker on the box.
The early T-34s with a 76 mm gun were relatively simply built machines with a welded hull, markedly sloped frontal armor and a fairly cramped two-man turret. The V-2 diesel engine with its good range, the wide tracks and the low ground pressure gave the vehicle decent mobility in soft terrain. Its drawbacks were the ergonomics of the fighting compartment and the limited view for the commander, who also served the main weapon. Production details differed between the individual factories, which is crucial when building a particular machine.
In 1:72 scale small markings easily get lost or, on the contrary, look oversized, so check the size of the motif against a photograph or a drawing before you apply it. The working method is the classic one: a gloss base, a short soak, careful transfer to the model, pressing down with a cotton swab, decal softener, matte varnish. Do not put the rest of the sheet away in a damp place; decals suffer from damp and from direct sun and after years they crack. Stored in its wrapping in a dry, dark place a sheet stays usable for a very long time.
This is an accessory, namely decals. The kit, paints and varnishes are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
