Plastic kit of the Brewster F2A Buffalo in 1:72 scale from Hobby Boss. A model of the American carrier fighter of the beginning of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American carrier fighter Brewster F2A Buffalo in 1:72 scale from Hobby Boss. It is an easily built model with a lower number of parts, finely engraved panel lines, a cockpit and a clear canopy part. Check the exact contents of the box and the number of parts against the instructions supplied.
The Brewster F2A Buffalo was an American single-seat carrier fighter with a characteristic stubby fuselage and a radial engine. It was among the first monoplane carrier fighters of the US Navy. In the Pacific fighting at the beginning of the Second World War it already lagged behind more agile opponents, and yet in the hands of some operators, above all the Finnish Air Force, it managed to make its mark with good results. The Buffalo thus remains an interesting subject from the early period of the war.
Glue the parts with liquid modeling cement for plastic, and the fine and clear parts rather with super glue. Paint the cockpit and add its detail before closing up the fuselage; the clear canopy can be protected with a mask while spraying. Laying a base coat (primer) and painting with an airbrush is recommended, and the panel lines can be brought out with a fine wash. Fit the small parts only after painting.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
