An injection-molded plastic kit of the American Christie T-3 medium tank in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer UM (UniModels). The model captures the characteristic shape of the hull and Christie's running gear with its large road wheels. The package holds parts in hard polystyrene and a decal sheet; for the exact contents, follow the instructions included.
The Convertible Medium Tank T3 was based on the design of the American inventor J. Walter Christie from the turn of the 1920s and 1930s. Its novelty was Christie suspension with large wheels and the ability to run both on tracks and on the road on wheels. This conception fundamentally influenced the development of fast tanks and became the starting point for the Soviet BT series.
Glue the model with liquid cement for plastic and finish the running gear, which is the dominant feature of Christie's design, before you close up the hull. We recommend a primer, airbrush painting and picking out the details with a wash. Mud and dust effects with pigments will give the running gear a realistic look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
