Yakovlev Yak-1 – wheels 1:72 is a resin detail set of wheels from Armory. It is not a model but replacement wheels for Yak-1 fighter models.

This resin set replaces the plastic wheels from the box with finely detailed castings with a faithful tread pattern and rim. It is intended for models of the Soviet Yak-1 fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not an airplane kit but a refining accessory for a base model.
The Yakovlev Yak-1 was a Soviet single-seat fighter of the beginning of the Second World War and the basis of the whole successful Yak fighter family. It was notable for its wood and metal structure and good handling; it served on the Eastern Front and became a mainstay of Soviet fighter aviation.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces. Bond the resin and the joint with the plastic landing gear with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. A light primer coat before painting is advisable, so that the paint holds well on the resin.
This is an accessory, not a model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
