A kit of the Mitsubishi Fuso Aero Star city bus in 1:80 scale, from the line of models of utility vehicles.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Aero Star is a city bus of Japanese production which from the middle of the nineteen-eighties became one of the most common vehicles of city transport in Japan. The designation MP37 in the name distinguishes a specific type variant. For a modeler it is a rewarding subject: a long angular body, large window bands and a low floor, that is, a shape that differs distinctly both from passenger cars and from trucks.
This is a kit in 1:80 scale, which is usual with models of buses from this circle and is markedly smaller than with common car kits. How many parts the package contains, in what color release the parts are prepared and whether decals are included are given in the manufacturer's catalog and instructions.
A bus is largely made up of smooth surfaces on which every unevenness is visible. So fill the joints of the body carefully and sand them down with fine abrasive paper, and only then apply the paint. Spray the paint in thin coats; a single heavy coat on a large area will reliably create an uneven sheen. If there are clear glazing parts in the package, glue them with a glue intended for clear plastics, which does not fog the surface, and fit them only after the body has been sprayed and has dried.
It will suit collectors of models of city transport and modelers who are building a city scene and are looking for a vehicle in a smaller scale for it. Paints, glue and thinner are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise; check the contents of the package in the manufacturer's catalog.
