The set holds painting masks cut from a self-adhesive film, not decals. It is intended for spraying the national cross of the Bundeswehr, that is the marking used on vehicles and aircraft of the German armed forces after 1955. The insignia is sprayed through the mask once it is stuck down, and after the mask is taken off it stays directly in the paint layer, with no carrier film and no visible edge.
The Bundeswehr cross tends to be two-color, so plan the work in two steps and always let the paint dry completely between them. Apply the lighter base first, and once it has cured add the darker part. Apply the paint in light passes with an airbrush — a single heavy coat creates an edge that can be felt. On modern vehicles with a matte finish it is advisable to check the adhesion on a hidden surface before sticking the film down, as matte varnishes tend to be more sensitive.
The item is not tied to one particular scale; it is a universal sheet. Compare the sizes of the insignia with your model. Paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
