About product

DSPIAE 1000 grit adhesive sandpaper

Adhesive sandpaper in a fine 1000 grit, precisely die-cut to a 75 x 25 mm format for DSPIAE sanding boards and blocks. The paper has an adhesive layer on the back, it is simply stuck onto the holder and once worn it peels off with no adhesive residue. 1000 grit is fine: it is used to smooth the surface after coarser sanding and to prepare the surface before painting. The paper stands up to dry as well as wet sanding, and at this grit wet sanding gives a smoother result.

Use

  • Fitting DSPIAE sanding boards and blocks (25 mm wide).
  • Smoothing the surface after sanding with a coarser grit.
  • Preparing a smooth surface before paint and varnish.
  • Dry as well as wet sanding; the paper can be trimmed as needed.

Who it is for

  • Owners of DSPIAE sanding boards who are finishing a surface.
  • Modelers working on a smooth surface for an airbrush or a brush.
  • Anyone who builds up a sanding sequence from coarse to fine grit.

This is a consumable abrasive for fitting to sanding boards. 1000 grit is fine; for heavier removal of material use lower grits. Protecting your airways while sanding is recommended.
