A die-cast collector's model of the legendary Tatra 603 of 1969 in the Verejna bezpecnost livery — the uniformed police force of what was then Czechoslovakia — in 1:43 scale from Abrex. The model is finished, painted and meant to go straight into the display case; it is not a kit.
The Tatra 603 was a streamlined six-seat limousine with an air-cooled rear-mounted V8, built in Koprivnice from the mid-1950s to the 1970s. It served above all as an official car for state offices, but it also appeared in the service of the Verejna bezpecnost police and, in modified form, on race tracks.
The model has a metal body with plastic fittings, glazing and faithful period Verejna bezpecnost markings. It comes with a stand and in a protective display case, so it is ready to be shown without any further work. Details such as the lamps, the handles and the interior are finished at the factory.
