An armored train is a combat system tied to a railroad line: an assembly of armored cars on which the armament tends to sit in rotating turrets or behind armor shields. Trains of this kind served in both world wars to protect lines, to support ground units and for transport. Check the pattern against the picture on the box and against the instructions.

Divide the build up by individual cars, so that similar parts from different assemblies do not get mixed. Cut the surplus material left by manufacture off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder carefully, so that the mating face stays flat. An assembly of this kind paints better in sub-assemblies: the running gear and underside separately, the superstructures separately, because once glued many areas are out of reach. Wash and degrease the surface before painting. The train stands on rails, so it pays to watch that all the wheels sit in one plane; otherwise the assembly will be visibly tilted on its base.
The kit suits modelers with experience of multi-part assemblies and those who build railroad or combat dioramas in 1:72 scale, where a long assembly shows to advantage.
Paints, glue, track and a base are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
