Photo-etched Plates, Medium Squares is a photo-etched sheet with medium-sized square holes. It is the universal choice between a fine and a coarse grid.

A sheet of photo-etched mesh of the brand Green Stuff World. It is material for making perforated surfaces, not a finished part for a particular model. The medium grid is the most universal of the three square variants: the holes are large enough to be individually legible on a finished model, and at the same time dense enough for the surface not to come across as a coarse fence.
The sheet is cut with ordinary scissors, so you cut out exactly the shape you need. Level the edges after cutting, so that no jagged transition to the surrounding surface is left. For gluing use cyanoacrylate in the smallest amount applied around the perimeter, otherwise capillary action will clog the holes. Before painting, degrease the surface and apply a primer, so that the layer holds. The holes stand out best when there is a dark surface under the mesh and the upper edges are lightly passed over with a dry brush.
For modelers of equipment, builders of dioramas and players who convert figures and terrain. If you need a different density, the line also includes small and large squares and further grid shapes.
The material is supplied unpainted. Paints, glue and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
