1:32 P-47C/Ds of the 56th Fighter Group

Decals 1:32 Republic P-47C and P-47D, 56th Fighter Group (Kits-World)

A sheet of decals in 1:32 scale for models of the fighter aircraft Republic P-47 Thunderbolt in the C and D versions, with markings connected with the 56th Fighter Group. The package contains a printed sheet, no plastic or resin parts. The printing is transferred onto a model with water once the varnishing is finished, so the choice of the particular form of the machine can be left until the close of the build.

Several sheets with the same name exist. Order, then, according to the exact product designation and the part number, not according to the name alone.

Application to a model

• Let the paint mature thoroughly and only then apply a gloss varnish as a base under the decals.
• Transfer the large designs of the big scale on a mat or on a brush, not in tweezers.
• Once it is seated, draw the water off with a towel and check that no bubble is left under the film.
• Apply the softener in two light layers; the printing draws itself into the engraved lines while drying.
• Wash the dried surface with a damp towel and go over it with a matte varnish, which suppresses the edges of the film.

Who it is for

For modelers who build the Thunderbolt in 1:32 scale and want a different form of the machine from the one the sheet from the box offers. The large scale forgives fewer mistakes in the seating, but at the same time it allows one to work slowly and precisely, because the individual designs are large enough to be straightened without a magnifier.

Decals are not a kit. A model, paints, varnish and a softener are not included in the package.
