About product

What the set offers

The instrument panel is the first thing a visitor to a display case examines in a cockpit, and at the same time the place where the plastic part from a kit usually is not enough. This element carries the whole panel worked out in color and with a three-dimensional relief, so the controls and the areas are not merely drawn. The picking out of individual details with a brush is thereby done away with, which in a cockpit the size of a fingernail is work for several evenings. In 1:32 scale the result pays off twice over, because the large canopy allows a good view into the cockpit.

Which guise to choose

The cockpit of the F-35 is defined by a large panoramic screen in place of a row of classic dials. That is why it makes sense with this type to distinguish whether a machine is captured with the screens off or with them on: an area that is off is dark and smooth, while one that is on carries a drawn image. The name names both guises and the real subjects are the A, B and C versions. How many elements the package contains and which guises are in it is stated in the manufacturer's instructions.

Application

Before applying them, check in the instructions whether the elements are self-adhesive. The procedure for application differs between the individual lines, so do not set to work until you have checked it. Clean and degrease the plastic part in the kit before applying it and let it dry completely. Transfer the element with tweezers, seat it exactly the first time, because sliding it across the surface will offset the paint, and press it on with a soft tip, so that it adheres in the recesses as well. Finish the cockpit before you close the fuselage.

FAQ

That cannot be determined from the name, as the procedure for application differs between the individual lines. Check it in the manufacturer's instructions before applying them.

The state of the displays in the cockpit. An area that is off is dark and smooth, while one that is on carries a drawn image. The name names both guises, and the particular contents of the package are stated in the instructions.

The name states the A, B and C versions in 1:32 scale. Before applying it, hold the element against the part dry and compare the outline with the plastic part in the kit.

While the cockpit is accessible, that is before the fuselage is closed. The base must be clean, degreased and dry, and the element is seated exactly the first time.
