This is not a seat but the decals that equip a finished seat. The printing is full-color and carries relief, so once the straps, buckles and handles are settled they no longer read as a painted surface. The 1:48 scale matches the usual kits of modern combat aircraft.
ACES II is an American ejection seat adopted as a common standard for several types of combat aircraft, so you will meet it across models of the modern US Air Force. That is exactly why this set is written in general terms rather than for one single type: use it wherever the kit has an ACES II seat. Just make sure your model really does have this type of seat, because older and differently equipped machines used other designs. The manufacturer's catalog lists more seat sets, including other scales, so go by the exact designation and the scale.
Paint the seat and overcoat it with gloss varnish, otherwise a silvery veil will show through under the decal. Release the decal in warm water, transfer it with a brush and do not push it around with a fingernail. Dose the softener drop by drop, let it work by itself and leave the decal undisturbed for at least 45 minutes; running a brush over the relief layer only wrinkles it. Straps that pass over the edges of the seat should be settled on the flat first and given their shape with a damp brush, without pulling, once they have begun to set. When everything is dry, unify the whole seat with matte varnish and bring out the shadows between the straps with a fine wash. Fit the seat into the cockpit last of all.
