A separate sheet of decals in 1:72 scale for models of the P-47C and P-47D Thunderbolt fighter in the early configuration with the raised fuselage spine.
Responsibility details are not available.
The P-47 Thunderbolt was one of the heaviest single-seat fighters of the Second World War. It was powered by a piston radial engine with a turbocharger housed in the rear fuselage and connected to the engine by long ducting run under the cockpit floor. It was thanks to that very turbocharger that the machine kept its performance even at high altitude. The Razorback designation refers to the early configuration with a raised fuselage spine behind the cockpit and a framed canopy; the later machines received a cut-down spine and a bubble canopy with a view to the rear.
It is a separate decal sheet in 1:72 scale for models of the C and D versions in the early configuration. It is not a kit but an accessory to a model you already have under construction or finished. Which particular machines the sheet covers and where the individual elements belong are described in the instructions enclosed in the package. With large-area elements it pays to read the instructions right through before you start work, because the order of application matters there more than with small markings.
The aircraft model, paints, varnishes and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
