The sheet 1:72 Befehlspanzer 4 is devoted to the command Panthers in the Ausf D, Ausf A and Ausf G versions.
Responsibility details are not available.
The fourth part of the Befehlspanzer series in a small scale. Star Decals has aimed it at a single type, but across its production versions: the command Panther Ausf D, Ausf A and Ausf G. The sheet serves for marking a finished model; on its own it is neither a kit nor a set of parts.
The conversion into a command vehicle went on with all three series versions and changed over time. The Ausf D was the first in production, the Ausf A brought a new commander's cupola, and the Ausf G then a revised hull with a one-piece side plate. They had the essential thing in common: a second radio set, because of which the supply of rounds was reduced, and conspicuous aerials. Command vehicles rode at the head of a company or a battalion and as a rule carried a conspicuous number by which the other machines took their bearings. It is precisely such combinations of numbers and insignia that make up the content of the sheet.
Get the model ready with a glossy base and have a dish of lukewarm water at hand. Let the design soak, transfer it into place and adjust it with tweezers. The water under the film has to come out, otherwise small bubbles arise that turn white once dry. On a turret with sloping areas reach for a softener and let the decal settle in peace.
