Yahu Models 1:72 Republic P-43 Lancer is a finished instrument panel for a model of the American fighter, to be stuck in place of the plastic panel.
Responsibility details are not available.
A finished accessory for the cockpit of a model. It replaces the plastic part with suggested gauges and gives the cockpit a legible instrument panel without painting. It is not a decal, so you need neither a gloss base nor a softener.
The Republic P-43 Lancer is a single-engine fighter with a radial engine, retractable landing gear and an enclosed glazed cockpit. The instrumentation was analog and arranged in a regular group of gauges on a full panel, as was usual on American machines of the time. An enclosed canopy paradoxically does not lower the demands: the glazing in models tends to be clear and thin, so the cockpit is visible and a smudged panel is conspicuous under it.
Sand the plastic part flat and try the accessory dry, ideally with the canopy in place as well, to check the height. Glue it with cyanoacrylate in small drops applied with a toothpick, and handle the part with tweezers. Before you close the fuselage, let the glue dry thoroughly, because the fumes of cyanoacrylate can fog a clear canopy. It is precisely on models with a glazed cockpit that it pays to glue the canopy last and to use a glue that does not whiten.
The accessory is supplied on its own, without a kit, paints and glue.
