Eduard 1:48 A6M2 Zero model 11 is a plastic kit of the Japanese fighter of the Second World War from the Czech maker Eduard.
Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the Japanese carrier fighter Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero in the Type 11 version in 1:48 scale. The manufacturer is the Czech company Eduard. The Type 11 corresponds to the land-based version without folding wingtips and without an arrestor hook. Premium Eduard editions usually add colored photo-etched parts and masking templates; the exact contents differ from one boxing to another.
At the beginning of the war the Mitsubishi A6M Zero was an exceptionally agile and long-ranged fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service. The Type 11 version was used above all from land bases, among other places in the fighting over China. The Zero became a symbol of Japanese fighter strength in the first half of the war.
The cockpit and the forward section deserve careful painting; on premium editions use the colored photo-etched parts. A primer, an airbrush for smooth coverage and a wash to bring out the panel lines all work well. It is worth masking the canopy glazing with the masks supplied or with cut ones.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
