This set of wet transfers brings fine technical markings, data lettering, warning plates and filling or service stencils, for the fighter Messerschmitt Bf 109 of the G and K series in 1:32 scale. It is the second part, which completes the range of small lettering spread over the whole airframe of the aircraft.
Wet transfer technology carries only the print itself onto the surface, with no carrier varnish film. The glossy frame around the motif, which with ordinary decals tends to be visible on flat and on metal surfaces alike, thus falls away. The result looks like markings printed straight on and blends better with the surrounding color.
The transfer is applied onto smooth gloss varnish and its position can be corrected at first. Once the water has been squeezed out from under the motif, it is left to dry for a few hours, and then the transfer film is carefully taken off. We recommend working in smaller sections and evening the surface out at the end with a coat of varnish, or with a fine weathering effect.
This is an accessory: the kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
