A finished collector's model of the single-engine American Curtiss P-40 Warhawk fighter. The model is supplied assembled and finished in color, so once unpacked it goes straight into a display case. Among collector's aircraft 1:72 scale is one of the most widespread, so the model fits in well among other aircraft in an ordinary case and does not take up much room.
The Curtiss P-40 was an American single-seat fighter with a liquid-cooled V12 engine, built in large numbers and serving not only with the US Army Air Forces but with a number of Allied countries as well. It was not an aircraft with the best high-altitude performance of its day, but it stood out for its rugged structure, good diving speed and toughness, which came in handy above all at lower levels and in demanding climates. It is exactly because it was so widespread among many operators that the P-40 is among the types that turn up in collections regularly.
The model comes in a finished color livery, so it needs no glue, no paints and no tools. We recommend displaying it out of direct sunlight, which changes shades of paint over time, and in a closed case, where dust does not settle on the small parts. When handling it, take the model by the fuselage, not by the propeller or the landing gear.
This is a finished collector's model, not a kit. The model is neither glued nor painted.
