A British wicker seat with a full back 1:72, the low as well as the tall form with a small leather pad, is a resin accessory for the cockpit. It replaces the plastic seat from the kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of resin seats for the cockpit in the small scale. It is not a model of an aircraft but an interior accessory. The back is full, without cut-out openings, and on its top edge there is a small leather pad. The seat is in the package in the low as well as the tall form.
The plastic seat in a 1:72 kit is often merely a simplified shell on which the leather pad is recognized at most by a slightly raised edge. The resin casting has the pad drawn clearly above the area of the back, so it can be told apart in color, and the lower part of the seat is thinner. On a finished model that shows mainly in the fact that the seat in the cockpit does not look like a glued-on block.
Sand the remains of the casting block and any flash wet. It is enough to dip the sandpaper in water with a drop of detergent, and the dust binds into a slurry and does not fly about. Resin dust is fine and belongs neither in the lungs nor in the eyes, so with bigger work a respirator and working at an extraction unit pay off. Wet, you can moreover see better how much material you have already taken away, because a white haze does not block the surface.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit in its own right. The parts are supplied unpainted; glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
