A British wicker seat with a pierced back 1:72, the low as well as the tall form without a leather pad, is a resin accessory for the cockpit, not a model of an aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin accessory for the interior in the small scale. The set brings the bare wicker seat without a leather pad, with a lightened pierced back, in the low as well as the tall form. The model of the aircraft itself is not included.
A pierced back is practically impossible to render in plastic in 1:72 scale. A kit answers it with a solid area and an engraved pattern, so the seat comes across as a solid piece of material. Even in the small scale the resin casting is thinner and has the openings in the back fully detailed, which the eye reads on a finished model as a lighter, brighter place behind the pilot. Without a leather pad the back moreover keeps the clean wicker structure across its whole area.
With resin a primer is a diagnostic tool, not just an undercoat. A white or gray casting hides small bubbles and traces of sanding, but as soon as a thin coat of primer goes onto it, the faults stand out. So first wash the seat, work it, spray a thin coat on and only then judge whether polishing is needed. Apply the paint in mists, as a thick coat would flood the pierced back.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit in its own right. The parts are supplied unpainted; glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
