The G version was the most numerous form of the German StuG III assault gun, and during its production both the barrel mantlet and the muzzle brake itself changed. This set joins an angular welded mantlet with a 7.5 cm barrel ending in a muzzle brake of the late form, which appeared on vehicles from the end of production. The difference from the earlier types is clearly visible on a model, because the brake shapes the silhouette of the whole front end.

The barrel is turned, so there is no lengthwise joint on it of the kind that is filled and sanded on a split plastic barrel, and the muzzle is drilled. How many parts the package holds and which kit the set is prepared for are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Check dry whether the part seats into the opening in the front wall of the superstructure, and widen the opening carefully as needed. Use super glue. Before painting, wash the surface, degrease it and back it with an undercoat. Vehicles of the G version differed from one example to the next, so it pays to compare the mantlet and the brake with photographs of the machine you are building.
