This aftermarket set from PANZER ART replaces the original plastic wheels on models of the British heavy tractor Scammell Pioneer in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit but detailed resin castings of the tires and wheels with a faithful tread pattern of the Dunlop brand. The casting captures the fine structure of the tread as well as of the sidewalls.
The Scammell Pioneer was a British heavy tractor used during the Second World War in the role of artillery tractor, recovery vehicle and tractor for the lowboy semi-trailers that carried tanks. It was marked by robust construction and large tires suited to rough ground.
Wash the mold release agent off the wheels, cut off the casting blocks and clean the mating surfaces up. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). A slight flattening where they bed onto the road, and emphasis on the tread with pigments, look realistic.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as resin castings. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
