A set of small parts for detailing the wheels of 1:24 car models, holding lug nuts and tire valves in the classic style. The wheels are the first thing a viewer sees on a model, and at the same time the place where a plastic kit saves the most: the nuts are usually suggested by a dimple only and the valve is missing altogether. The set replaces both with separate parts.
Work with tweezers and over a tray; the parts are small and there is no finding them in a carpet. Wash the castings in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap and separate them from the rest with a sharp knife, not with nippers. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Drill holes of the matching diameter in the rim, seat the parts and only then paint. The nuts suit a metallic shade brushed on, while the valve tends to be darker.
The set is an accessory, not a kit. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
