The Fordson WOT 6 was a British three-ton military truck with all-wheel drive. It came about as an off-road supply vehicle and served with British units in many bodies throughout the second half of the Second World War. Tires for these vehicles were delivered by several makers, so the treads differ from one example to the next and a modeler has the chance to pick the form matching the particular photograph being built.
Wash the castings in lukewarm water with dish soap, separate the casting blocks with a saw and sand the mating surface wet with your airways protected. The wheels are glued with super glue. Apply a filler primer and only then paint. Choose a dark gray with a brown cast for the tire rather than black, and lighten the sidewall slightly so that the relief of the lettering stands out. Set the rim apart with a sharp line in the color of the vehicle. Apply dust and dried mud in the tread and on the lower part of the wheel, that is where the vehicle would really have picked them up.
